Kathleen is not your typical Executive Director of a nonprofit organization. She is a former CPA firm partner who has combined her 20+ years of financial and management experience along with her passion to work cohesively with national peers in the construction industry.
She gained accounting, auditing, and consulting experience while working for Warren Averett, the 6th largest CPA firm in the Southeast. She exceled with the firm and became the leader of the firm’s Construction Practice Group. Her vast industry knowledge and work ethic has elevated CICPAC to become a well-known name in the public accounting and construction arenas.
She is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA), and continually strengthens CICPAC’s relationship within these organizations.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Southern Mississippi and her Masters of Business Administration from University of West Florida. In addition to her CPA license, she has earned the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).
When not working or traveling, she enjoys reading, dining out at local establishments with her husband, and spending time with her daughter’s family, which includes a recent addition, her first grandchild.
